Third edition

 

In 2008, on that contest edition, the design workshop was on the Biosphère de Montréal:
By taking account of the history, of its axis of development and its needs as regards education, to present a vision of the development of the infrastructures of the Biosphere such as it could be in 2017, at its 50 years.

 

Team 1 - 3rd position for the rigor of their work and their customer's need and focus.

Team 5 - 2nd position for the advanced ideas and the integration of the diverse disciplines.
Team 6 - 1st position for the originality and the coherence of their concept around the topic of the cycle.

Prizes:

Varying between 800$; 400$; a special mention for the member of winning teams and presence prizes of 250$

 

 

 

  Second edition

 

 

In 2007, the teams were ask to convert the old brewery O' Keefe in the south-west of Montreal. Their new mission: to accommodate 600 students in residence, besides a commerce, a private clinic and classrooms.

    First edition

 

 

In 2006, the teams received the mandate to put their ingeniousness and their knowledge to design a ecological building for the Équiterre organization. Indeed, Équiterre, which makes the promotion of citizens responsible actions for the environmental and social plan, wishes to move in a new space which will belong to a new dimension of its educational mission: the ecological building.

Team 3 - 1st position for the coherence of its choices in all the aspects of the building and to the quality of the integration of the project in its environment from a durable developmental perspective

Prizes:

Varying between 100$, sanners (90$), gift-certificates (50$ in a co-operative); books “the tree, a life” of David Suzuki and Wayne Grady; books of the Écosociété Editions for the members of various teams and presence prizes of 50$
